April 6, 2022 Orange County Chamber Newsletter

Message from the Director I’d like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude for the warm welcome I have received in my new role. I am humbled and honored by the many calls and messages I have received. I am committed to making the Chamber the best it can be, and with your support we will continue to see remarkable things happen in our community. We’ve had a busy couple of months here at the Chamber. I hope you’ve been able to come out to some of our Ribbon Cuttings, Coffee Meetings, or After-Hours events. Be sure to take advantage of these free member benefits! Check the calendar on our website and watch your email for information about upcoming events. Speaking of member benefits and events, we have two upcoming events that you won’t want to miss. The 31st Annual Orange Uncorked Wine Festival will be held May 7 & 8 in Somerset. Make Mother’s Day extra special this year by treating Mom to a full day of music, craft vendors, food, and, of course, Virginia Wine and Cider! Get your tickets early to get the best pricing – I’ll see you there! Soon after the Festival, our Annual Business and Industry Appreciation Picnic is scheduled for May 19 at Liberty Mills Farm. This joint effort of the Chamber, the County of Orange, and the Towns of Gordonsville and Orange is free to all Orange County businesses. Please RSVP to Kristina at occcexec@gmail.com to be sure we have enough food for everyone! Finally, I want to encourage all our members to get involved! We are always looking for volunteers to help plan, organize, and execute our events. If you are interested in helping with any of our events, please give us a call at (540) 672-5216. Remember, we’re here to help you make your business successful – give us a call or stop by and let us know how we can help you continue to thrive! I’ll see you around!
