4-H Therapeutic Adventure Camp of Orange

The Therapeutic Adventure Camp of Orange, also known as TACO, is located in Orange Virginia.  It is a 4-H sponsored event run by a committee of volunteers.

The program serves special needs youth ages 9-19 that are Orange County residents.

 

The campers participate in activities such as horseback riding, arts and crafts, and horse education. TACO offers a week long summer camp.

American Legion Post 156

American Legion Post 156 serves all of Orange County and the surrounding area. 

The American Legion is the nation’s largest veterans wartime service organization.

was renovated in 2015, and currently serves 200 members, with an average daily attendance of 75 members, ages 6-18.

EarthQuest

A non-profit organization based in West Georgia. We travel around the country with our feathered friends, to renaissance fairs, schools and other large events. Our birds are ambassadors for their species and they help teach people about wildlife and what we can do to help.

Our educational programs teach people how each of these birds are their own little miracle and what makes them different from one another. Utilizes non-releasable Birds of Prey to educate people about how their daily actions affect these wonderful animals.
