Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Iron Pipe Alewerks

We had a great Ribbon Cutting ceremony for Iron Pipe Alewerks on July 31st!

It was wonderful to see the community support for a local small family business!

If you have not had the chance to try the great beer and brick oven pizza, you are missing out on a wonderful experience!

Together this father and son duo, Steve (pictured left) and Zach (pictured right), have teamed up to share with you their love for fresh, flavorful craft beers. They  have been brewing together for what seems like forever in the family garage, and now they are expanding their horizons to share their experiences with you. Zach’s appreciation and passion for hand-crafted beers runs deep. Working extensively within the craft beer market and brewery scene over the last 7 years, Zach has been able to expand his repertoire and refine his skills as a brewer.  Zach carefully selects the grains to develop his recipes with traditional flavors in mind, while at times twisting the rules, looking to extract new flavors. Zach and Steve both studied for the BJCP (Beer Judge Certification Program), working alongside the guidance of an accomplished master judge. That shared experience has helped them to identify traditional styles by taste, smell, and standards of the brewing process, which help them brew flavorful and quality beers. It's been a long time coming, but the Brewpub is now open and ready to share with you in the Historical 1929 American Silk Mill Factory building downtown Orange, VA.
