Helping To Bring Christmas To The Kids! The Orange County Children's Toy Box is an IRS 501.c.3 charity in Orange, VA. 100% of all donations go towards making sure that Christmas is a special time of year for every family. All of the families are initially identified and interviewed by the staff at the Orange County Social Services Office. Following that process, specific and limited information is passed on to the staff at the Orange County Children's Toy Box. From that information we are able to make Christmas miracles happen.
Why Support the OCCTB? Nothing touches you more than knowing you are going to make a child smile and cheer on Christmas morning. Especially when you realize that many of these children have learned to expect nothing. It is heartbreaking for the child who returns to school following a Christmas with no gifts to open, and who will likely make up stories about the wonderful Christmas he or she shared with their family.
Even though we are not there on Christmas morning to hear the children cheer with surprise and delight, we were there delivering gifts and witnessed mothers and fathers shed tears, which said more than any words they could have spoken. Many children and parents who were once recipients of the Christmas miracles they received, are now volunteers to help other families receive their Christmas joys. Learn More, https://occtoybox.org/
