The firm enjoys a proud history of service, including attorneys serving as Orange County Attorney, Town Attorney for Orange and Gordonsville, Attorney for Lake of the Woods Subdivision, service as Commissioner of Accounts, serving on the Board of Supervisors and Town Councils, and producing attorneys to serve as Clerk of Court, Commonwealth’s Attorney, and Judge. Rick Wilkinson has served on the Orange County Board of Supervisors, Gordonsville Town Council, and as Attorney for Gordonsville and Lake of the Woods. Currently, he is concentrating on real estate and estate planning for his clients. Rick’s daughter, Emily, operates Integrity Title Company, providing title search and recording services and Title Insurance policies.

Situated in the “Gingerbread House” on the corner of East Church Street, the office adjoins WA Sherman Company and is across Byrd Street from the Copy Stop. The office has its own parking, and provides excellent access to the Courts and Clerk’s Offices. Rick has been representing his clients in business and real estate, and estate planning matters since 1983. Emily worked in customer service before joining the firm, learning the real estate and title insurance practice before starting the title company.

Rick Wilkinson graduated from Waynesboro High School, and attended James Madison University (BA 1979) and William and Mary (JD 1983). He began practice in the Southwest Virginia coalfields in Wise County, relocating to Orange in 1987 to serve as Assistant Commonwealth Attorney. From that time until the present, he has practiced in Orange County, and is excited to be able to move the practice from the old Bank of America Building to the new location at the corner of Byrd and E. Church Streets. He remains married to his High School sweetheart, Debbie, and they have devoted many hours to serving the needs of the youth of Orange County. His practice has centered on providing a full range of services concentrating on Real Estate closings, Estate planning and wills, and on Estate administration. As part of these services, he also devotes substantial time to corporate matters, landlord/tenant, and collections.
