The Orange County Chamber of Commerce recognized the Rotary Club of Orange as the Business of the Month for February. The Rotary Club is a service organization dedicated to making a positive, sustainable change in our community as well as global efforts through the parent organization, Rotary International. Locally, the club focuses on enriching the lives of youth through contributions to education, mainly through granting 2 scholarships each year to a graduating senior at OCHS who is pursuing certification or degree into a trades program. Funds for these scholarships are raised locally, primarily from their annual dinner and silent auction, held in March/April each year. Most people know about the Rotary Club by signature community event, the Annual Rotary Orange Christmas Parade. Rotary works closely with the Chamber of Commerce as well, with members attending Chamber events as well as volunteering! Congratulations to the Rotary Club of Orange!
