 Judi Cooper,

OCCC Executive Director

Wow. I am halfway through my first year.  Looking back at what we’ve done so far this year – 22 new members, 7 Ribbon Cuttings, 5 Business After Hours/Coffee Socials, the revival of the Women in Business Networking group – the list goes on, with many more on the horizon. Stay tuned and watch for more details!

The Chamber had a very busy May. The Orange Uncorked Wine Festival was held on May 7th & 8th in Somerset. The weather tried it’s best to be uncooperative, but we still had a great time with live music, great artisan vendors, food, and premiere Virginia wines and ciders. We’re already working on next year’s festival. Save the date for May 6th & 7th 2023! The Business and Industry Appreciation Picnic was held on May 19th at beautiful Liberty Mills Farm.

This annual event is co-hosted by the Chamber, the County of Orange, and the Towns of Orange and Gordonsville and is our way of expressing appreciation for the contributions from the businesses in the County that help make Orange County a great place to live and work. Special thanks to our sponsors and hosts. I would like to extend a big Thank You to our volunteers for their countless hours of hard work to help make both events successful.

The 47th Annual Orange Street Festival is scheduled for Saturday, September 10, 2022. This annual autumn tradition is shaping up to be a great event for all. Registrations are already arriving – reserve your space today!
