    Montpelier Wine Festival

Sample wines and ciders from Virginia wineries at the 27th Annual Montpelier Wine Festival on the grounds of James Madison's Montpelier, located along Route 20 just south of the Town of Orange.

The Montpelier Wine Festival is a great place to bring the whole family.  Spend the day tasting wine and enjoying distinctive arts and crafts, enjoying live music, specialty food vendors, participate in the hat contest, corn hole games and horse drawn wagon rides!  Children will enjoy kite making classes,  kite flying contests and barrel train rides.  Mansion tours are available and begin at the Visitor's Center. New for 2017, discover the new vendor area to highlight the talents of local artists.  The Artist's Corner is sponsored this year by Orange Pharmacy and the Orange County Chamber of Commerce.

Adult admission tickets are twenty five dollars at the gate and designated driver tickets are just five dollars at the gate.  Bring a blanket and a picnic - bring your kite - bring your love of Virginia wines and celebrate spring at the Montpelier Wine Festival, Saturday and Sunday, May 6 & 7.

Please note, the festival takes place in a field on the grounds of James Madison's Montpelier. You will find a new ATM machine on site located inside the Visitor Center.  No outside alcohol permitted. No pets permitted
