Cooperation Brings Results for Orange County

The rural setting of Orange County is our treasure. It has been carefully preserved because its people continually are working to develop a balance that best serves past, present and future. This balance is achieved through the cooperative efforts of many. This effort, supported by the Orange County Chamber of Commerce, brings about positive results for the entire county.

Membership of the Orange County Chamber has been drawn from a broad base of business, cultural, community and government interests. This representation comes from agriculture, commercial business, manufacturing, tourism, civic organizations, legal, and medical professions, as well as education and other enterprises. Represented and contributing to the cultural aspect of the county are writers, musicians and artists.

Local and state government officials are included in Chamber discussions and informed of Chamber positions. Sound business decisions which affect continued growth and investment health of the county are everyone's business.

These combined efforts have produced the County's considered growth and strong economic base. We now have an attractive industrial park; new water and sewer facilities; sensitive preservation of historical sites and farm land; and a strong responsive educational system. These are just examples of what teamwork achieves and why Orange County is a great place to live and work or to visit for a while.
